Description:
Carine Fabius wears many creative hats: author, art dealer, curator, and Huffington Post contributor. In her latest book Saturday Comes: A Novel of Love and Vodou, Fabius depicts Haitis long-smoldering societal conflicts and the magic that reigns over the everyday lives of Haitians, as co-narrated by Bawon Samdi, Vodou spirit of death. Fabius reads a passage from Saturday Comes inside In Extremis and discusses the importance of the Bawon.
